Maxime Brami

Maxime Brami

I am a French/Luxembourg archaeologist, specializing in later prehistoric dispersals in Europe, during the Neolithic and Early Bronze Ages. Having spent a decade studying in the UK before Brexit, and a couple of years since working as a postdoctoral researcher in Austria and Germany, I am very aware of the challenges facing early career archaeologists, from long-term job insecurity to imposed mobility and lack of representation in decision-making. Currently I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow in the Palaeogenetics Group of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

As chairperson of the ECA Community, I am responsible for coordinating our activities and corresponding with the European Association of Archaeologists
